Charterhouse Tasting Day

It’s true to say that when the sun shines there’s nothing quite as refreshing as a smoothie.

Of course, when you can add both sunshine and a monastic backdrop into the mix it’s a marriage made in heaven. So when we were asked to provide a tasting day for the students at Charterhouse School, whose cafe has recently started stocking our delicious products, we jumped at the chance to help out.

Charterhouse is one of Britain’s leading independent schools and has been educating the leaders of tomorrow since 1611 on the site at Godalming. It’s an incredible location and puts Hogwarts to shame with its towering spires and haunting architecture.

Yet aside from the landscape, our tasting day proved that smoothies are as relevant as ever to today’s fad-happy younger generation. Indeed, while women make up 80% of smoothie customers, here at Love Taste Co we’re noticing a rising trend in teenage males keen to steer clear of energy drinks in the bid to stay lean and mean.

The drinks market is a busy one, with new products flooding onto the market every day. But our smoothies provide the perfect solution – not only a sea of great flavours which elegantly combine fruit and vegetables, but the ease in which the product can appear. No fuss, no mess, no chop, no waste – just grab from the freezer and blend with milk, juice or coconut water.

The pictures from the tasting day certainly prove our point when it comes to attraction, as it’s clear the bright colours and stunning combinations make us stand out from the crowd.

Not only did we have Carthusians queueing up for two of their 10 a day, but their parents were keen to try them out, too. After all, everyone needs a healthy dose of vitamins and minerals, especially when it comes to hydrating yourself after a day in the sun.

We supply smoothies all over the world – to gyms, cafes and restaurants as far afield as Dubai and Australia. But it’s the diversity of outlets that really makes us realise what a great product we have at our fingertips. So from the Hurlingham Club to HMP Wandsworth, and from Bill’s Restaurants to Woolworths in Sydney, you know that wherever you go you can always get your hands on one of our great tasting smoothies.

Just like the students at Charterhouse, we hope that gives us an A for effort!
