Christmas Themed Smoothie Bowls

One of the best things about this time (for us at Love Taste anyway!) is not having to rush off to work – which means you have plenty of time to prepare yourself a yummy, indulgent yet not-too-unhealthy breakfast. We think a Smoothie Bowl perfectly fits the bill – they are beautiful, delicious and can range from super healthy to a little bit naughty.

A Smoothie in a Bowl?

Smoothie Bowls are exactly what they say – a smoothie in a bowl! You use a bit less liquid to give them a thicker consistency and then you can pimp them with whatever you like – nuts, seeds, berries – even a Ferrero Rocher if you want!

At Love Taste we did some experimenting and came up with some extra special ones. All you need is some of our smoothie sachets, a blender, apple juice or almond milk and some goodies to sprinkle on top.

Our Top Smoothie Bowls for Christmas

Santa’s Strawberry Smoothie Bowl

Blend two sachets of our Strawberry Split smoothie (strawberries and bananas), add 250ml of apple juice and blend. Pour into a bowl and top with festive figs, raspberries, chunks of dark chocolate and granola. Luscious!

Tropical Xmas Smoothie Bowl

Blend two sachets of Pash N Shoot smoothie (passion fruit, mango, pineapple) with half a banana and 250ml of almond milk. Pour into a bowl. Top with passion fruit, coconut chips, banana and kiwi. Tasty and healthy!

Xmas Magic Smoothie

Blend two sachets of our Black Magic Smoothie (made with cherries, berries, activated charcoal and banana) with 250ml of apple juice. Pour into a bowl. Top with coconut chips, bananas, raspberries, cherries or goji berries and nuts or pumpkin seeds. Rich as well as detoxing!

Berry Xmas Smoothie Bowl

Blend two sachets of Berry Go Round (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries). Blend with half a banana and 250ml of almond milk. Pour into a bowl. Top with banana, pecans or walnuts, kiwi, sliced almonds, nut butter and a sprinkle of berries.

Tuck in and enjoy a festive fruity feast!
