Iron in Spinach helps to create haemoglobin, which carries oxygen in your red blood cells to your body’s tissues, and is therefore a great supplement for women, who have a higher tendency towards anaemia and all the associated symptoms of tiredness, low mood and energy.

What should I blend this smoothie with?
We recommend 200ml of apple juice, but take a look at the blending options for each smoothie by clicking 'view nutritional info and more' for low-cal and other ideas. You can always use 200ml water and a splash of maple syrup, or 200ml coconut water, and most of our smoothies also taste delicious with 200ml oat or almond milk.
Can I add protein powder to this smoothie?
Yes absolutely! This is a great smoothie to add a scoop of whey or pea/other protein powder to. Try also adding 1/2 a banana and using oat milk instead of apple juice - it'll create a lovely, creamy and filling drink.
